Are you a meat eater or a vegetarian?

I grew up as a normal diner in our culture which makes me an omnivore - I eat meat, fish, vegetables and other edibles like fruits. In my adult years I have noticed that some people have become vegetarian because of health reasons. They thought that avoiding meat can help them to become healthy. For me, I would rather enjoy my life than to live a long life that is not enjoyable. How I love steak, roast pork belly and seafood. What is your stand on the kind of food to eat?

I eat both meat and vegetables. I think the only meat that is not good if eaten daily is red meat. White meat like chicken and fish is good and healthy. Seafood is also healthy. I think being a vegetarian is not bad but we need to eat meat to get some nutrients and proteins too.

I am a pure vegetarian by culture and by religion. I do eat eggs now but only very occasionally. I tasted a bit of chicken at my friend's place once but didn't like it much. So I just plenty of veggies and fruits and dairy products.

Wow! That's awesome! You're healthy then. You meat is rich in protein and our body needs it for it's a body building food for your muscles. What is your option then?

We do eat plenty of lentil varieties such as chickpeas, pigeon peas, green gram etc. which are also rich in protein. So we don't really lose anything by not eating meat.

Yes, that's it. Beans are rich in protein. What chicken meat, cow meat and other fowls and animals meat can offer of protein, those lentils are good source.
