This topic is similar to the previous one which is the spending of the child for non-essential items. A neighbor whose son is into surfing had bought a motorboat. That is so the son can brag to his friends when they go to the beach for the surfing. Think of the big expense of the motorboat. What followed was a jet ski which was also expensive. After a year the son went abroad to continue his studies in the US. The parents are now thinking of selling the motorboat and the jet ski. That is good to sell because the value diminishes as time goes by.
