Beware of stray dogs nearing the gate

We were warned by our vet when he came for a house call. He saw several stray dogs in our street. He said that the disease of the stray dogs can contaminate the gate if the stray dog would come near our home. I understand his concern because stray dogs are the ones spreading rabies and parvo diseases of dogs. What we do now is to spray the gate with water to at least cleanse that area so that our dogs can sniff the gate with no problem.

You could call the police to take the stray dogs to animal orphanage. There, they can be treated and taken care off. Maybe they once had owners and something happened and they got separated.
