Having a food cabinet for convenience

We have a food cabinet where we store canned goods and other food items that are not perishable like ketchup and mayonnaise. Think that we go to the supermarket once a month and store the food items so we would not be shopping more often. It was my wife's idea to stock up on food items. That style had saved us trips to the grocery store and we even have bought items on a discount when we purchase by bulk.

We currently don't store much food. So we buy almost daily. But we have things like maize in the sack so that's some sort of storage. There are months where we stock much food and other months we just buy the food daily. I personally like stocking up on food.
