How many credit cards do you have?

I used to have several credit cards until I realized that the credit card is a temptation for spending. I settled for 2 credit cards provided by the biggest bank here. Now I only have 1 credit card when the 2nd card was expired and I forgot to request for a renewal. But anyway, 1 credit card is enough for me since I only use it for big purchases like appliances or for treating friends in a buffet restaurant. Cash is my preferred payment because there is no hassle.

It's great that you have recognized the potential risks of having multiple credit cards and have taken steps to simplify your financial life. By limiting yourself to one credit card, you can better control your spending and reduce the temptation to overspend.

Using a credit card for big purchases can also be a smart financial move, as many credit cards offer rewards programs or cashback incentives that can help you save money. However, it's essential to use credit responsibly and avoid carrying a balance that accrues interest. Using cash for everyday expenses can also be a good habit to have, as it can help you better track your spending and avoid overspending. Finding a payment method that works best for you and fits your financial goals and needs is crucial.
