The ingredients are bread, egg, milk and flavoring that is usually cinnamon. Mix a glass of milk to the 2 beaten eggs and later include the cinnamon powder. For frying, use butter instead of cooking oil. Dip the bread and let it soak in the mixture before placing in the pan. When the bread turns brown that is the color that it is already cooked. The french toast is nice to eat with jam or simply without adding anything.

Won't the bread tear when it soaks in the mixture because of the milk?

I do dip bread in eggs only and fry it. I sometimes use butter to fry a plain slice of bread and it becomes brown and crunchy.

But I will try next time with milk in the ingredients and see how it goes.
