The Christmas season in our country starts early by November and ends with a bang on the new year. Unfortunately for pet lovers, particularly the dogs, the new year's eve revelry is cruel. Our 2 dogs are cringing in fear and extreme stress is evident. I know there is a law against exploding firecrackers for it can cause severe injury or even amputation of fingers or hand. But come an hour before midnight it was like a world war with the incessant noise of the firecrackers. When will people learn that animals are afraid of the sound of firecrackers?
