The upcoming night swimming party

I am invited to a night swimming party which is actually a trip to a distant rural town. With close friends who are joining that made me excited. However, now I am thinking of the expenses. There's the rent of the vehicle, fuel and driver cost. The resort is not free. How about the food? To be honest, I am thinking of not going anymore because of the big expense needed for that party. At first I thought someone will be a host to shoulder all the expenses but not anymore.

It's sounds fun but if you feel that it could cost you much that you can handle then it's ok not to go. I can already feel the pain of missing out on such a fun experience but sometimes it's necessary to avoid other things. It's not good to spend much on fun things and forget about other essential needs that are needed.
