Twins sharing clothes to save money

I thought this topic as one way of practicing frugal living. There are twins that are the same height and same body size. Twins can always share and exchange their clothes and save money that they would have used in buying extra clothes.

What do you think about this? Do you know any twins who do this?

Not always these kids are twin and most of their physical profile and appearance are the same but their body structure and even their height are not the same.

No, definitely not! Twins or not, kids should have some say in their clothes, at least let them pick what they like and it is a matter of great importance to be able to have something that belongs only to them. Also, it is not at all hygienic to wear clothes belonging to others.

It's the parents who provide the clothes for their twin kids and they're always the same or uniform in style, color, design, etc.
Yes I have seen many pictures of twins wearing the same clothes. I doubt if the kids would themselves choose to wear same clothes as their siblings if given a choice. Back in the old days, people had less money to spend and therefore used to buy cloth material in bulk and so everyone ended up wearing same kind of clothes in the family, but now it is no longer an issue.

You may be right but there are still parents using that attitude for the twin child. I think only poor people can't do that for they can't afford.

Pardon me for saying that this is a bad way of saving money. Ask any twin and they will tell you that there is pain in having the same clothes with the sibling. My advice to parents with twins, save enough money to afford the new clothes for your twins. Never scrimp in such a way to avoid prejudice and discrimination. There are 4 of us boys in the family and there were times that I had to use the old clothes of my elder brother. That is not really good with my ego.
