Wagging the tail means happiness for the dog

Well-known member
Whenever I would come home from a trip our dogs would be very noisy with their barking. I know that is a sign of excitement because I have arrived. Another thing I noticed is the wagging of the tail which is a sure sign that the dog is happy and maybe excited too. This morning when I came home from the market I was so tired because of the hot weather. But I was jubilant when I saw our dog with the wagging tail.

Too bad humans can't read the barking of dogs. They always communicate but we have never learned barking language. The wagging of tail could also mean other things apart from excitement. And barking could also indicate danger or pain.
