What do you use for working online?

I am a computer user and I prefer to use my desktop for working online. Most of the writer friends are using the phone or tablet. They say that a portable gadget is very convenient since you can do work online even when you are in the bedroom or even when you are traveling. Do you think that makes me an old fashioned user? I have difficulty in using the virtual keyboard of the tablet much more of the phone. It is exasperating to be committing typing mistakes from time to time.

I currently use a smartphone because the websites I write on are compatible and can be opened easily using a phone.

But with some writings, I need to use a computer so I can be able to edit articles and arrange the contents in the right format before publishing.
